It’s so very hard to believe that we have come full circle, another year just around the corner. Welcome 2017!
From mermaid tails to messy bun beanies, color pooling and so much more. We have discovered new creatives to grace the market and challenge ourselves to become better at our craft, whatever that may be.
I know, personally, I never expected for YarnWars to be where it is today. I have taken on projects I told myself, at one time, I had no interest in doing. I have seen the potential of sales in a VERY competitive market. I have seen enormous growth in our Facebook community and have met the most wonderful people who share in the same passion of yarn art & design.
We have shared in so many of life’s monumental moments with each other; a new baby born, the passing of a loved one. So many have been so gracious with their time, mentoring others, sharing their vast knowledge of the craft.
With the new year approaching, only hours from now, we have the opportunity to discard of any misgivings, embark on a new journey or continue to build on an existing one, push ourselves towards growth not just in our craft, but also in in our personal lives.
This year has so much potential. We can pause, refresh and continue to forge ahead towards our goals and dreams.
I look forward to the continued journey, I look forward to the next big hits of yarn art in 2017, and I look forward to continued friendships and the making of new!
