Happy Independence Day! FREE YarnWars Pattern Picks From Around the Web!

It’s been a little bit since I’ve posted some pattern picks and I do apologize for that. There have been a few changes in my life that have made it a little more difficult to get in here as much as I had been.

I LOVE all of the YarnWars friends I’ve made and the community just keeps growing with so many talented and creative hands!

I wanted to post a few free patterns that I’ve found online, a couple I’m working on, and I hope that these give you a few ideas for things to make for this aMAZing Holiday!

I wish all of my American friends a safe & enjoyable 4th of July with family & friends!!

I want to first state before going further, each of the images below belongs to the owner of the pattern. Please do not copy or distribute or claim ownership. These pictures are only being used to share with you the outcome of the respective pattern designer’s creation for the patterns they have made available to us all for free.

The first pattern I would like to share that I found online is from Kara Gunza at Petals to Picots. While I usually like to create a pattern first, when it is someone elses creation that is, I unfortunately have not had the time to complete these, however! I love this idea and will be completing one myself. Sadly, it won’t be ready before the 4th comes around. If you are looking for something patriotic to make for the 4th, and you have a little time on your hands, why not whip up one of these great Star Spangled Banner Crochet Buntings!

Another great find was from Lily Sugar’n Cream. These fun American Flag Crochet Pot Holders can be detailed with buttons or yarn. The great thing about this pattern, you can attach it to a dowel and you have your own hand made American flag to wave at the Independence day parade!

For my knitting friends, I found this adorable Americana Wrist Cuff by Cirilia Rose of Skacel Collection, Inc. I couldn’t pass this up as a YarnWars pattern pick! It’s simply adorable. Absolutely love this and I’m thinking of pulling out the knitting needles to whip one of these up. The website is a little difficult to navigate, but if you just type wrist cuff up in the search bar on the site, it will pull up the page #. Click on that and you will see in small print on the right side bottom, the pattern. You can scroll over that and click on it to zoom in.

My final pattern pick, is this fun crochet Freedom Wind Sock by Heidi Yates with Snappy Tots. I love this idea! You will have to sign up for a free account with Ravelry to download this last pattern, but there are so many fun free patterns in Ravelry from crochet to knit… so why not?!

That wraps up my pattern picks for this glorious day! You still have time for that patriotic make!
